Whilst still identifiably the Erasers sound, this album is slightly darker and more cinematic than it's predecessor.
One dominant keyboard sound is eerily reminiscent of Vangelis in Bladerunner mode, which lends the album, in particular on a song like 'Heavy Worlds' an eerie, dystopian feel.
The percussive elements are slightly more syncopated, but no less metronomic, and that vocal drone and slithers its way through everything like a diffident cry.
A beautiful sigh, surrounded by darkness. Michael Mueller
